Environmental Safety Products & Services Ltd was formed in late December 1999 by its General Manager, Grant Wilson. The formation of the company was based primarily on an opportunity to expand the market well beyond its position at the time. In the last 5 years the company has purposely positioned itself as a reputable supplier of products and services to the NZ market, although the absorbent product ranges carried have changed for one reason or another the focus on customer service has continued to meet the demands the market expects. Mid 2003 saw the company undertake a project that has been an ambition for many years to create the first and only total NZ manufactured absorbent range. |

| Our exclusive Absorb - X® absorbent product range includes pillows, socks and booms. The market was calling out for one product to address the majority of situations rather than the current standard situation where two separate products are stocked, thus of course adding to not only difficulty and or confusion for valued clients making a choice of product but for sales staff when dealing with customers requests. |

- We recently also introduced the second of three sales vehicles in the Auckland Region, these vehicles are able to service customers requirements onsite. This of course eliminates the wait for goods to be delivered.
- Once the third new vehicle is commissioned in June 2007 we will decommission our Spill Trailer and utilize the Utility vehicles as our response to spills, this will streamline our response and increase our personnel at the scene.
- We are also appointing Regional Sales Agents in strategic cities throughout NZ; the first has been commissioned in Gisborne and is responsible for the East Coast and adjoining locations. The next is Wellington and Northland with the South Island to follow shortly.
- Two new initiatives are being introduced in the short term, the first a “Training DVD” outlining our product range and how to use the products correctly and safely and the second are Seminars on various topics relating to Hazardous Materials Management, HASNO and Spill Response/Clean up. | The range of Absorb - X® Hazmat Stations has also been added to, we now have a comprehensive range of kits from 20-660L, we recently added a 80L Wheelie Bin kit as we felt there was too much of a gap between the 40L & 120L, we have also added a 100L Portable to compliment our already successful 40 & 80L portable kits. Our range of Hazmat Stations is widely sort after as is our ability to customise a kit for customer’s specific requirements. |

| The “total package” offered includes correct and accurate product selection, we offer a basic 30 minute training session to customers who purchase our products, this ensures that the products purchased are used in a safe and suitable manner in which they were designed for. This of course also ensures that environmental issues are also addressed. The provision of a 24/7 Emergency Spill Response service completes the ensemble. |
